Mountain View Mobile Park holds Craft Sale

A spring craft sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 4 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 5 at the Mountain View Mobile Home Park. The sale will include Easter decorations and gifts for bridal showers, weddings, graduations and summer weddings. The Mountain View Mobile Home Park is located at 2901 E. Second St. in Newberg.

Easter egg hunt set for April 19 at Jaquith Park ball fields

An Easter Egg hunt for all ages will be held April 19 on the Jaquith Park ball fields. The hunt will begin at 10 a.m. for ages 3, 4, 6 and 7 in separate sections of the park. At 10:30 a.m. another hunt will begin for children under 2 years old, as well as those age 5 and 8 to 10. Each hunt will begin on time and last five minutes. Children will have a chance to meet the Easter Bunny and the Fire Pup. Guests are asked to enter the park from the park’s North Main Street entrance.

Easter egg hunt slated for April 19 at Dundee Billick Park

Dundee Billick Park will be the venue for an Easter egg hunt from 10 to 10:45 a.m. April 19. All children ages 4 and under to 11 years old are invited and even special needs children will have their own hunt. The event will also feature a plant sale, doughnuts and coffee, a visit from the Easter bunny and special prizes.

Dundee has spots open on its budget committee

The city of Dundee’s budget committee is accepting applications for openings. Committee members serve a three-year term and meet with the mayor and City Council members three to six times a year. Applicants must be a registered voter in Dundee and committed to forming the city’s annual budget. Applications can be found online at www.dundeecity.org.

Fundraiser to benefit McMinnville youth in critical care after fatal crash

On March 29, there will be a bottle drive, bake sale and car wash at the Newberg Tire Factory to benefit Jayden Moore of McMinnville. Moore, 9, is in critical care at Randall Children’s Hospital after being in an accident Feb. 11 that killed her mother and twin sister. The event date may change pending weather. Scholls annual plant sale set for April 12-13

The Scholls Women’s Club will host its annual community plant sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 12 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 13. All proceeds from the plant sale will go to the Scholls community and Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions about gardening. New members sought for Friends of Historic Champoeg board

The Friends of Historic Champoeg board of directors is looking for five new members. The new members will help shape current and future activities supporting interpretive programs at Champoeg State Heritage Area. The board meets for two hours every third Thursday of the month. Advocacy classes on tap at Henderson House

McMINNVILLE — Henderson House, a 24-hour crisis line service for women and children who may be victims of domestic and sexual abuse, is offering spring training classes beginning March 31. City Historic Preservation Commission member openings

The Historic Preservation Commission is looking for citizens and local high school students to apply for open positions. Persons interested in the positions will identify and preserve significant properties in the community.

Library board seeking applicants

Two positions are open on the Newberg Public Library board of directors. The positions require that the applicants reside within the city limits. One position is a four-year term from July through June 2018; the other position will complete the term of a previous member from May through June 2015.
