GFU Auxiliary lecture series returns Saturday
The George Fox University Auxiliary will host another installment in its lecture series on the history of the university at noon Saturday in the Cap & Gown Room. Registration open for July invention camp
Mabel Rush Elementary School will host Camp Invention from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 7-11. The camp is presented by the National Inventors Hall of Fame, the United States Patent and Trademark Office and local educators. Sign up by March 28 and save $25. CCC hosts spring break art camp
The Chehalem Cultural Center will host the Art of the Ages spring break camp for children up to third grade March 24-26. The hands-on exploration of art actively engages the imagination and creativity while exploring art throughout cultures and history, according to a press release. The camp will cover several different art movements, from prehistoric art to abstract expressionist splatter painting, using a variety of mediums and materials.
