Travel Newberg hotel receives number one hotel in Northwest rating by Condé Nast Traveler
For Pierre Zreik, receiving word that the Allison Inn and Spa was rated No. 1 in the Pacific Northwest by Condé Nast Traveler was the best thing ever.
Zreik, the inns general manager, heard the news a few days before the list was released last week.
Were very excited, he said.
Its something we did not expect, Pierre Zreik said.He said once receiving the news, there was a lot of celebrating.
Theres some amazing properties on that list (including the Four Seasons hotel in Seattle) beating all those, and as an individual, is a great honor, Zreik said. Now were even more powerful.
But now they have a high standard to live up to.
Were up to it, he said. We hope to maintain No. 1 for years to come.
He said he believes they were rated so highly 92.3 out of 100 because of the highly trained staff at the inn.
We have such an amazing staff working for us. Thats what makes us different, Zreik said. They have hospitality in their blood.
The 92.3 rating was based on an average in five categories: rooms, service, food, location and design. The survey was reader based, with 28,876 responses collected. Tu Tu Tun Lodge in Gold Beach came in second with 91.9.
