Adelsheim hires director of business operations
Wine news Kim Bellingar promoted after working for the Newberg winery since 2008
Adelsheim Vineyard recently appointed Kim Bellingar as director of business operations. The newly-created role oversees the companys administration, accounting, finance and human resource functions and development of its long-term strategic vision in conjunction with President David Adelsheim, according to a press release.
Bellingar has worked for Adelsheim Vinyard since 2008. She started as office manager and most recently was manager of sales operations.
We are pleased to be able to promote Kim Bellingar to the position of director of business operations for our company. Ms. Bellingar came to us fresh out of college and in her five and a half years with us she has learned an incredible amount about the wine industry, Adelsheim said. At the same time, she earned an MBA with honors from Portland State University, moved on to learn the complex business of U.S distribution sales, and is now ready to oversee a huge range of back-of-the-house topics. These include pro-active human relations and benefits management, collection and analysis of distribution depletion data, and budgeting based on industry-benchmarked data.
