Cochran

Melissa Giampietro and Joseph Cochran, both of Newberg, were married in a double-ring ceremony July 6, 2013, at the Chapel at Rock of Ages in McMinnville. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Shaun Strong of Carlton Community Church.

The bride wore a strapless gown with organza, split front a-line style and carried red and white roses. She is the daughter of Dominic and Deborah Giampietro, of McMinnville. She is a 2007 graduate of McMinnville High School and a 2011 graduate of Western Oregon University.

The groom is the son of Greg and Shonna Cochran, of McMinnville. He is a 2011 graduate of McMinnville High School and works as a welder/fitter on an oil rig.

The maid of honor was Nicole Crouser, a friend of the bride.

The best man was Josh Sturges, a friend of the groom.

Ringbearers were David Coleman and Trayton Hume. The flower girls were Rebekah Coleman and Ainslie Hume.

The couple honeymooned at Wallowa Lake in northeastern Oregon.
