Wyden town hall set for Wednesday, Feb. 22
U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden will hold town halls next week throughout Central Oregon, from Sisters to Prineville to Madras.
In fulfillment of Wyden's pledge to hold annual town halls in each of Oregon's 36 counties, the upcoming public community meetings will increase to 797 the number of town halls he has held since his election to the Senate in 1996.
"It's clear from my first town halls of 2017 so far that Oregonians are coming out in record numbers with real concerns," Wyden said. "I look forward to continuing the conversation in Deschutes, Crook and Jefferson counties about how to preserve and protect the Oregon way focusing on solutions."
The Jefferson County meeting will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m., in the Madras Performing Arts Center at 412 S.E. Buff St.
Prior to the Madras town hall, Wyden will hold a meeting Monday, Feb. 20, at 5:30 p.m., in the Sisters High School auditorium at 1700 McKinney Butte Road.
Tuesday, Feb. 21, he will hold a town hall at 12:30 p.m. in the Crook County High School auditorium at 1100 S.E. Lynn Blvd., Prineville.
