From Kampala Uganda to Colton: The Imani Milele Children's Choir

The choir will perform in song and dance on Thursday, May 25 in the Colton High School gym.

A dance performed by African children in a performance of the Imani Milele Children's Choir. Colton Elementary School will present the Imani Milele Children's Choir from Kampala Uganda.

"We are hosting this energetic team at an elementary assembly and then hosting and an evening event at the high school as well," said student teacher Kristi Dodge. "The evening event will stage their singing, dancing, stories and needs and connect our communities with theirs. There is a no charge entrance fee but their goal is to raise funds to support their children's organization of 3,500 children (it houses, feeds and educates them)."

The choir will take donations and bring handmade products to sell.
