Molalla's Second Friday
The August Molalla 2nd Friday will be held from 4 p.m. to dusk on Aug. 8 with an auto-themed event, Colored and Chrome.
Free activities for kids of all ages will be available, including car coloring sheets at Leonard Long Park, with crayons and markers on site. Kids can also paint a small wooden car with paints and brushes provided, while supplies last.
Businesses in the downtown stay open late with some holding special sales, such as Molalla Videos sidewalk sale.
Enter the raffle and check out the growing number of vendors showcasing a variety of products and crafts, as well as an expanding choice of foods – hot dogs, bagels, pizza, and more.
Live entertainment features singer Amanda Elliot, music by Molalla River Academy, and performance by KAPA Dance, Music and Theater.
Other events: The Car & Bike Show, Molalla Motor Madness, sponsored by KAPA Dance, Music & Theater, will also be happening. For more information on the car and bike event, contact Al Johnson at (503) 307-5609.
Now a part of Molalla Area Chamber of Commerce, Molalla 2nd Friday was begun in 2010 as part of the Molalla Main Street program. While the affiliation has changed, the purpose remains the same – to draw attention to the great shops and businesses downtown Molalla has to offer.
