Female driver taken away by ambulance after morning car crash at Y-intersection
A Hondo heading toward downtown Molalla on Highway 211 crashed into a Dodge pick-up truck Friday morning at the Y-insection at the east end of Main Strett -- the second such accident in five days as that location
A female driver was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital after her the car she was driving collided with a pick-up truck just before 10 .m. Friday at the Y-intersection at the east end of Main Street in Molalla.
Details were not immediately available, but the female driver of a Honda Accord that appeared to be traveling toward downtown Molalla on Highway 211 crashed into the driver-side door of a Dodge Ram 2500 pick-up truck in front of the Y-Market/Toad's Express Deli at 901 E. Main St.
Emergency personnel with Molalla Rural Fire Protection District #73 and the Molalla Police Department responded and assited in getting the injured driver of the Honda into an ambulance.
It is believed that the ambulance took the woman to Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City. The severity of the driver's injuries are unknown, but she appeared to be conscious as she was helped from her car onto a stretcher.
Friday's incident was the second at the Y-intersection in five days, following a similar accident that occured about 5:10 p.m. Monday when a Ford Focux ZX3 heading into downtown Molalla slammed into the driver-side door of a Chevy S-500 pick-up truck in front of Toad's.
