The annual Molalla Quilt Show, hosted by the Molalla Area Historical Society, runs May 9. 10 and 11 at the Dibble House Museum in Molalla.

For all you quilters out there, this is your big chance to check out the local work of like- minded ilk.

Visit the Molalla Area Historical Society’s Dibble House and History Museum over Mother's Day weekend and see some excellent examples of historic quilts as well as more contemporary exhibits.

This is a donation based fund raiser, with a suggested donation of $10. As such, please be generous in your donation to the society upon your visit, so that the society can maintain the facilities and continue to provide access to the icons and trappings of Molalla's historic past.

Exciting news for the quilt show: vendors will be there for all three days.Shawn's Exotic Wood Turnings will be there all three days, Country Bumpkin Quilting will be there Friday and Saturday, and DiOrti Soaps and Clothing will be there Friday only.

Heartstrings Duo will make music on both Saturday and Sunday.

A large collection of professionally made quilts, both machine and hand sewn, are expected.

Admission is by donation. The hours are Friday noon -dusk, Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.. Join in at the museum for coffe and music and some lovely quilts. The museum is at 620 S Molalla Ave, with parking behind the museum on Metzler Street.

For vendors and showers: quilt drop off day is Wednesday May 7, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Voder Ahe house in the Molalla Area Historic Society campus. Parking is on Metzler Street.
