Local man arrested on sex charges outside Molalla Safeway
Molalla Police officers Friday night arrested a local man outside the Molalla Safeway on sexual assault charges from earlier this year.
At about 8:14 p.m. May 9, police apprehended David Brian Martin, 32, a registered sex offender, who also had an outstanding drug warrant. The sex-related charges stem from an alleged rape in 2013 and an alleged sexual assault this year, police said.
Martin is being held at the Clackamas County Jail on one charge of first degree rape, two charges of first degree sodomy, three charges of kidnapping, one charge of second degree robbery, one charge of first degree burglary, two charges of possession of methamphetamine, one charge of ex con in possession of a firearm and one charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Martins bail was set at $1.9 million.
