Woman injured in Highway 213 crash
Thursday evening accident at Macksburg Road intersection blocked traffic for about half an hour
One woman was injured Thursday night in an accident that blocked traffic on Highway 213 near Mulino.
Molalla Fire Chief Vince Stafford said at 8:39 p.m. the driver of a Ford F-150 crew cab pick-up truck headed in the direction of Molalla put on the brakes at the Macksburg Road intersection and was rear-ended by a mini-van driven by a woman who was alone in her vehicle. The driver of the truck and three passengers were not injured.
It looked much worse than it was, Stafford said. Both vehicles spun around and blocked traffic on the highway.
Molalla Fire District responded to the accident with two engines, a command vehicle and an ambulance. Molalla Police and the Oregon State Police also responded. The woman was taken by MFD ambulance to the Willamette Falls Hospital.
At this time, no identification of those involved in the crash is available.
