Downed power lines shut down morning traffic on Warrick Road
Traffic on South Molalla Avenue at Warrick Road, south of Molalla, has been restricted until evening while a hazardous-materials crew cleans up transformer fluid spilled in a car crash.
Clackamas County sheriff's deputies said the driver of a vehicle was injured when it crashed into a power pole around 8:54 a.m., knocking down power lines.
Molalla Fire District units responded, but the identity and condition of the driver are not available.
A Portland General Electric crew has been replacing the power pole and reconnecting power lines. According to PGE, some 33 local customers lost power when the lines went down. Power was expected to be restored by noon.
