Hamlet of Molalla Prairie offering Oregon Small Farms Conference scholarship
The Hamlet of Molalla Prairie is offering six scholarships to help pay for the registration fee for the 2014 Oregon Small Farms Conference to be held at OSU in Corvallis on Saturday, Feb. 22.
This daylong event is geared toward farmers, agriculture professionals, food policy advocates, students and managers of farmers markets.
Twenty-four sessions will be offered on a variety of topics relevant to the Oregon small farmers. This year there will be a session track in Spanish. Speakers will include farmers, OSU Extension faculty, agribusiness, and more.

Early registration is through Feb. 2, which the Hamlet encourages in order to offer the full fee of $45 per person. A maximum of two people per household will be allowed and place of residence or work must be in the Hamlet of Molalla Prairie boundaries.
To qualify for the $45 reimbursement, you will have to provide a copy of the 2014 Oregon Small Farms Conference confirmation payment to the Hamlet of Molalla Prairie Community Meeting held at the Molalla Library on March 19 at 7 p.m. or send the confirmation by mail, before that date, to Carine Goldin at 32880 Sawtell Road, Mollalla, OR 97038.
