Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous holding Thanksgiving meetings

Food Addicts in Recover Anonymous (FA) offer support to anyone suffering from food addiction, overeating, under-eating and bulimia. All are welcome, including those who think they have a problem with food or those who are concerned about someone who may. A special Thanksgiving Day meeting will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 23 at First Unitarian Church, 1211 S.W. Main St., Portland. Enter the building on the corner of S.W. 13th and S.W. Fundraiser set for Wilsonville-Boones Ferry Historical Society

The Wilsonville-Boones Ferry Historical Society will hold a fundraising History Night event taking place from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 28 at McMenamin's Old Church and Pub, 30340 S.W. Boones Ferry Road in Wilsonville. A raffle will be held for a reserved table at the pub for five people January through June 2018 at History Night events, plus a $30 gift certificate. Tickets for the raffle are $1 each or 6 for $5.

Tickets will also be sold Nov. 29 through Dec. 31 at Wilsonville Library, 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road.

Give to Arts Council of LO

The Arts Council of Lake Oswego invites community members to participate in #ACLOGiveNow! This five-week campaign focuses on raising funds for education and outreach programs, with a goal of raising $10,000. Donations will be accepted online through the Arts Council of Lake Oswego website, artscouncillo.org and cash and check donations can be mailed to the ACLO offices, located at 520 1st St., Lake Oswego, OR 97034. LO Lions collecting coats and more for Hope Sparrow

The Lake Oswego Lions Club, in coordination with Hope Sparrow Community Services, is collecting new and gently used children's coats, jackets, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens and warm socks and boots. Donation bins have been placed at Lake Oswego City Hall, 380 A Ave., and at the Lake Oswego Public Library, 706 4th St. Donations will be accepted until Dec. 15.

Engel & Volkers invite all to open house

Engel & Volkers will host a holiday open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at the store, 4847 Meadows Road Suite 151 in Lake Oswego. The real estate firm has partnered with Portland Rescue Mission to collect blankets and toiletries. The first 20 donors will receive a fresh evergreen wreath, and there will also be a drawing for a $100 Nordstrom gift card.

Santa will be available for photos, and re freshments will be served.
