Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation is offering a unique opportunity for community members to try out the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) with a try-it-out share.
A CSA is a partnership between a farmer and local consumers. Participants must be 16 or older, and they pay a fee at the beginning of the growing season to meet the farm's expenses for the upcoming season. The try-it-out share gives you the opportunity to purchase a one-week share for August and September. The share consists of 8-10 different vegetables and herbs and costs $25 per week. Registration is required no later than the Tuesday before the Thursday pick-up that occurs between 5-7 p.m. Lake Oswego Parks & Rec is home to many programs including the local CSA: ci.oswego.or.us/luscher/about-luscher-farm.
