LOWC members serve up breakfast at Ronald McDonald House

by: SUBMITTED PHOTO - Members of the Lake Oswego Womens Club became provisional chefs in training at the Ronald McDonald House recently. Pictured, from left, are Jane Luby, Karen Schneider, Jackie Medecki, Minita Feldsien, Karen Norgaard and Gaby Gardner, who helped prepare egg casseroles, sausage, bacon, fruit salad, pecan waffles, banana caramel pancakes and pancakes with fresh blueberry compote. As delicious as all that sounds, the real treat was watching the families thoroughly enjoy the heartfelt feast, said DeLoris Scherschlight, 2013 LOWC membership chair. The care, consideration and love that was baked into each dish (was the equivalent) of knowing that we helped families in their time of need.
