ACCIDENTS

3/7/16 6:33 p.m. A motorist was cited for driving without insurande and failure to obey a traffic control device after a two-car collision at Boones ferry and Bryant roads.

3/8/17 5:18 p.m. A driver was cited for failure to avoid a stopped vehicle after a two-car collison near Kruse Way and Mercantile Drive.

3/9/16 7:57 p.m. A driver was cited for careless driving after plowing his car into the front of the 7/11 store on A Avenue.

3/10/17 12:48 p.m. A driver was cited for making an improper right turn after a two-car collision near Highway 43 and Stampher Road.

3/13/17 2:04 p.m. A driver was cited for failure to drive within a lane after a head-on collision near Highway 43 and Burnham Road that closed streets in all directions and sent one man to OHSU with injuries that were not life-threatening.

STOLEN VEHICLES

3/10/17 12:25 p.m. A 1993 Toyota 4Runner was reported stolen on Greenridge Drive. About 20 minutes later at the same complex, police recovered a 1995 Honda Civic that had been reported stolen in Portland. The Honda's motor was running, the keys were in the ignition and no one was around.

3/11/17 3:55 p.m. The Toyota 4Runner reported stolen on March 10 was located by Portland police and returned to its owner.

THEFTS

3/10/17 8:19 a.m. A North Face jacket, change holder, owner's manual, registration and insurance card were taken from a GMC Denali on Boones Ferry Road.

3/10/17 5:23 p.m. A homeowner told police she believes someone is stealing pieces of her stone wall on Wembley Park Road. Estimated value of the missing rocks: $12.

FRAUD

3/7/17 12:13 p.m. A woman told police that her grandma had given out personal information over the phone and was now worried that it was all a scam.

3/8/17 3:57 p.m. A Lake Oswego resident's personal information was used to open fruadulent credit card accounts.

3/8/17 8:19 p.m. A resident on Meadows Road said someone signed for the package she was expecting, but that she never received it.

3/9/17 3:16 p.m. Banner Bank reported that someone made fraudulent deposits and then withdrew money from the account.

MISC.

3/1/17 12:50 p.m. Police transported an injured cat from Southwest 27th Place and Sylvania Terrace to a nearby veterinarian's office.

3/1/17 2:29 p.m. Kids were reportedly throwing rocks at people and animals in George Rogers Park.

3/1/17 7:23 p.m. Police seized two guns from a storage locker after a caller alerted officers to three lockers that were found open in the basement of a building.

3/3/17 10:45 p.m. Officers were asked to check on a white minivan in which a man and woman reportedly were having sex.

3/3/17 11:05 a.m. Forest Hills Elementary officials called police after seeing a drone hovering over the school.

3/3/17 2:10 p.m. Police were asked to check on a man who was reportedly sleeping in his car near Foothills Road and State Street.

3/4/17 7 a.m. Police were unable to locate an emu that had reportedly been running loose on Rosemont Road near Luscher Farm.

3/5/17 3:39 p.m. An HVAC worker called police for help after the ladder he used to climb onto the roof of the Goodyear Auto Service Center on A Avenue blew over and left him stranded.

3/6/17 1:29 p.m. A 21-year-old man was taken to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center for observation after reportedly breaking things, knocking holes in the wall and throwing chairs in the home where he was staying.

3/7/17 12:12 p.m. A recently fired employee of a pizza parlor had a fit and started swearing when his ex-boss asked to leave the restaurant.

3/7/17 2:54 p.m. Police were called to the scene of an errant shopping cart, which reportedly was blocking the eastbound lane of McVey Avenue near State Street.

3/8/17 11:19 a.m. A man told police he saw a man and woman rummaging through recycling containers near Childs Road and Montauk Circle and believed they were the couple suspected in a recent string of thefts in Lake Oswego and Tualatin. Officers were unable to locate the pair, who were last seen leaving the area on foot.

3/8/17 11:49 a.m. A woman told police that she had just received notification that the iPhone she lost sometime last summer had suddenly been turned on. Officers responded — and found the missing phone in the woman's residence.

3/8/17 2:43 p.m. Co-workers said they would take care of a heavyset man who had been seen stumbling in traffic and dropping his belongings near Jean and Pilkington roads.

3/9/17 12:55 a.m. Restaurant owners told police they'd try to use a quieter device after complaints that a pressure washer being used to clean the roof was too noisy.

3/9/17 7:59 a.m. Wells Fargo employees asked for extra police patrols after spotting the same Toyota SUV parked outside the branch on A Avenue for three mornings in a row. In each case, the vehicle drove away when employees opened the bank.

3/9/17 12:01 p.m. A dead squirrel was removed from the roadway at Sixth Street and E Avenue.

3/9/17 2:11 p.m. A dog sitter named Anne has been watching a pooch since mid-January and now won't return the pet to its owner.

3/9/17 6:11 p.m. A resident of The Gables at Mountain Park reported receiving harassing emails from a man named Alberto who lives in Arizona.
