Lori Lee DavisAn elderly Lake Oswego woman was cited for reckless driving Friday morning after she crashed her car into a building and two other vehicles on South State Street.

Police said numerous callers to 911 reported seeing a woman crash into the building at 333 S. State St. while trying to park her car just before 10:30 a.m. Friday. Witnesses told police the woman, later identified as Lori Lee Davis, 83, then put her car into reverse and accelerated quickly, breaking a section of the curb before slamming into a parked car.

Davis continued to drive quickly in reverse until her car struck a pickup truck that was driving toward the exit of the parking lot, witnesses said. No one was injured, but police estimated damage to the building, a curb, the parked car and the pickup truck at $10,000-$20,000.

Davis was cited for reckless driving at the scene and released.
