Hop at the Hunt

Hundreds of children delighted in finding plastic eggs filled with candy along with a few treasure eggs. Various attractions like pony rides, a barn tour, fire truck and police cruiser also were provided to keep the day hopping for the youngsters. Hundreds of youngsters turned out at a somewhat damp Lake Oswego Hunt for the annual family Easter egg hunt Saturday.

The Hop at the Hunt for children 12 and under featured the traditional search for candy-filled eggs along with opportunities for pony rides and to see the club’s horses.

Also offered were visits with the Easter Bunny, Otis the pony, a Lake Oswego fire truck and police cruiser, treasure eggs, barn tours and an egg recycle station.

Organizers and sponsors included Lake Oswego Hunt, Hope Community Church, the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce, city of Lake Oswego, Lake Oswego Review, jh2 design, Frog Pond Toys, Syd Dorn Auto Broker, Deno’s Pizzeria, Betsy’s Pet Sitting Service, Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, Tutor Doctor, Banner Bank, Albertsons and First Citizens Bank.
