3/24/14 6:28 a.m. While a man was working out in a gym, a thief broke into his car and stole a Toshiba laptop in a black carrying case worth $600.

3/24/14 4:21 p.m. A female shoplifter went into an optometry shop and stole four pairs of frames. A clue to her identity is that she has pink highlights in her hair. This incident is believed to be related to a similar case in West Linn.

3/26/14 5:33 a.m. A car clout on Summer Place resulted in the pilferage of a gray bag, briefcase and roadside kit with a total value of $400.

3/27/14 5:20 p.m. In a case of the old switcheroo, a person who bought a pack of soda swapped it out for eight cans of beer.

3/27/14 10:58 p.m. While shopping at Wal-Mart, a female started yelling that someone had stolen her bike.

3/28/14 11:48 a.m. A total of $3 is now missing from an unlocked vehicle on Cedar Street.

3/28/14 8:07 p.m. A woman discovered that some valuable documents had been stolen from her home on Twin Fir Road.

3/29/14 10:14 a.m. Miscellaneous CDs were stolen from a maroon Toyota 4Runner parked on Greenridge Drive.


3/19/14 9:05 a.m. A female driver was tailgated for 2 miles by a 40-ish male driver, who then drove around her and slammed on the brakes. He then tried to follow her to work where he tried to hit her with his car.

3/19/14 3:11 p.m. A runaway junior high student is living in a park. Friends are bringing him food. Officers are searching for him.

3/19/14 5:46 p.m. Two girls were throwing a Frisbee when a 14-year-old jerk came along, grabbed it and refused to give it back. But he did when police showed up on the scene.

3/19/14 7:59 p.m. Two trouble-making teenage boys were harassing customers and attendants at a gas station. They were wearing backward caps, long hair, hoodies and black shirts. They were later warned about trespassing.

3/20/14 8:32 a.m. A mother called the police after her son went out for a run and did not come back. Later, an officer called the mother and said her son had been lodged at Clackamas County Jail.

3/20/14 7:51 p.m. A resident of Lakewood Road is concerned that two magazine salesmen roaming her street might actually be casing her house for a burglary.

3/21/14 8:15 a.m. A woman is being plagued by her ex-husband, despite her taking out a restraining order against him. He has taken money out of her bank account and has bothered her in other ways.

3/21/14 9:51 a.m. A back window was smashed out on a vehicle parked on Albert Circle. Damage was set at $300.

3/21/14 2:31 p.m. A speed trailer will be placed on Duncan Drive, where there has been a chronic problem of speeding drivers.

3/21/14 4:22 p.m. A wife called the police on her husband after he threw beer all over her.

3/22/14 3:58 a.m. An ex-girlfriend is standing outside her ex-boyfriend’s house and refusing to leave. Police are on the way.

3/23/14 4:55 p.m. A 13-year-old client at a youth facility started attacking other youth with a broom. The victims are likely to press charges.

3/23/14 8:17 p.m. Four juvenile clients of a youth facility began attacking staff members and busting up furniture. One of the boys was lodged at Donald E. Long for attempted assault on a public safety officer.

3/24/14 7:46 a.m. A vandal at Lakeridge Junior High School damaged a storage locker and the junior high baseball field between Thursday and Saturday night. Graffiti damage amounted to $150.

3/24/14 8:43 a.m. A woman is upset that her ex-husband is not using a booster seat when he picks up their children for a visit.

3/24/14 10:11 a.m. A man who drew his knife on a person on March 23 was spotted slipping his man-made dinghy into the lake.

3/24/14 11:06 a.m. An apparently careless fellow on a bicycle with a trailer attached was running his vehicle back and forth into traffic on Foothills Road.

3/24/14 2:07 p.m. After a man heard screams and slaps at an apartment on Jefferson Parkway, he rushed to the rescue. However, the woman who answered the door claimed she was the only person there.

3/24/14 6:59 p.m. A neighbor became alarmed when a man ran to his black Charger, possibly grabbed a gun and went back inside. An officer went to the scene, walked through an open door into the house, then grabbed the gun and cleared the house.

3/24/14 7:14 p.m. A mother was concerned that her 15-year-old daughter had run away. The girl was located at a grocery store on Boones Ferry Road.

3/24/14 10:43 p.m. A man playing his guitar on his back porch was advised to go inside.

3/25/14 8:14 p.m. A solicitor became rude and argumentative when a woman on Aspen Court refused to buy a magazine subscription from him.

3/25/14 11:48 p.m. A man staggering drunkenly down State Street while carrying an axe drew attention.

3/26/14 8:38 a.m. A rude bell ringer kept pressing a woman’s doorbell for 10 minutes. Extra patrols are now looking for him.

3/28/14 2:50 p.m. A woman disregarded a no soliciting sign at a residence on Ridgetop Court. She was given a ride to a gas station on Carman Drive. She has a warrant out on her and has a history of assaults on public safety officers.

3/29/14 7:45 a.m. While a woman was out jogging, she was followed by a man in a large pearl-white pickup truck, who then pulled over to talk to her. Another woman runner later reported the exact same incident one hour later.

3/29/14 9:38 a.m. Police checked on a man in a hotel parking lot who was threatening to commit suicide, but they found he was just stressed about life and needed sleep.

3/29/14 9:40 a.m. A teenage girl ran away from her home on Second Street. The 17-year-old girl had curly brown hair and green eyes. The girl later returned home.

3/29/14 12:12 p.m. Despite a restraining order against him, a man showed up with a U-Haul at a house.

3/29/14 12:53 p.m. Hostile neighbors downstairs cost a man a tenant at an apartment on Oswego Summit.

3/28/14 3:49 p.m. A woman received a phone call from Mississippi in which the caller said there was a check fraud/money laundering warrant out for her. The woman thinks this is a scam but wants to talk to an officer about it.
