Page2Stage Express will bring the lovable trickster Hershel of Ostropol to life at Willamette Park amphitheater at 2 p.m. Saturday, courtesy of the West Linn Public Library, Oregon Arts Commission and the Clackamas County Cultural Coalition, with a performance of “The Adventures of Hershel of Ostropol.”

In folktales retold by Portland children’s author Eric A. Kimmel, Hershel survives by his wits in stories that are endlessly entertaining. Even during hunger and poverty, Hershel shows the importance of humor over hardship.

The 30-minute production is followed by a brief talk-back with the actors.

Admission is free.

Willamette Park is located at 1100 12th St. in West Linn.
