Benefit concert planned for CASA

A free concert featuring Harmony Road and Whiskey Deaf with Annie Staninec will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 15 at Willamette Park, 1100 12th St., West Linn. The concert is a benefit for Child Advocates Inc. — Court Appointed Child Advocates (CASA) of Clackamas County.

“Close to 130 CASAs volunteer their time and energy each month to help abused and neglected children in foster care in Clackamas County find safe permanent homes,” CASA Manager Linda Rinnan said. “CASAs act as eyes and ears for the court, gathering information in order to make recommendations that are in the best interest of the children they represent.

Bring your lawn chair and favorite beverage and join us for an evening of family fun and dancing in support of these volunteers.”

Harmony Road plays rock and brass from the ‘70s. Whiskey Deaf with Annie Staninec plays bluegrass and old time music.
