Winners from LAA show announced


For The Review, Tidings

Following is a list of winners from the 48th annual Lake Area Artists show and sale, held at Lakewood Center for the Arts the last weekend in April.

Best in Show went to Gretha Lindwood for “Marie Louise’s Garden.” First place went to Lucinda Potter for “Seaside Sunset.” Second place went to Kay Allenbaugh for “Sunset” and third place was awarded to Michele Bufton for “The Lure of Blue.” Receiving honorable mentions were Jack McNally for “Buffalo” and “Bull Elk” and Dee Rommel for “Steens Autumn.”

The Lakewood Center for the Arts Award went to Linda Terhark for “Friday Market Day.”

The Lake Oswego Review award went to Theresa Andreas-O’Leary for “Kaleidoscope Comfort.” The Mayor’s award went to Rob Sandford for “Joyful.”

The Arts Council of Lake Oswego award was given to Jean-Marie Chapman for “Out of the Storm.”The Pat Tunks award went to Mike Frary for “Canyon Road.”

Lake Area Artists thanks those who attended and who donated to the raffle. Several LAA artists donated artwork to the raffle, proceeds of which go to Lakeridge and Lake Oswego high schools for scholarships for a graduating senior to continue their art education.
