Cloverdayle says goodbye to Portland

by: SUBMITTED PHOTO - Rachel and Chad Hamar, also known as the country duo, Cloverdayle, are moving to Nashville. They will present a goodbye concert on Sunday.

Chad and Rachel Hamar of West Linn, known to many as the country duo Cloverdayle, are moving to Nashville.

“We’re making the big move because we’ve had a lot of incredible doors opening for us there,” said Chad. “This year Jason Aldean’s band produced and played on two songs off of our new album in Nashville, one of which has been out on national country radio, and the rest of the album was recorded and produced between Nashville and Portland. All of that has led to some pretty amazing opportunities, so now is our time to be there full time.”

But before the Hamars go, Cloverdale will present one last concert, the Goodbye Portland, Hello Nashville concert on Sunday at 6 p.m. at Southlake Church Auditorium, 1555 SW Borland Road in West Linn.

The event begins at 4 p.m. with bounce houses, face painting and other activities for kids. A raffle, beer, wine and food carts will be available. Tickets to the concert are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted for $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Buy tickets online at cloverdayle.com.
