The theme for this year’s exhibit is “Celebrating All Things Food” with handmade ceramic wares for the table.

This is the 31st annual showcase and is the largest sale and show of ceramics in the United States, featuring the works of more than 200 potters from Oregon and Southwest Washington. Local potters involved in the showcase include Georgina Longfellow, Kris Paul and Daniel Ennis, all of Lake Oswego, and Sara Swink of West Linn.

New to the show this year will be cooking demonstrations by local chefs; a special installation, “A Moveable Feast,” of a farm table set with three-piece place settings, the proceeds of which benefit Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon; and “Art for the Table,” an exhibit to reveal the sophistication and beauty in everyday bowls, plates and chargers.

Throughout the weekend there will be demonstrations by nationally acclaimed ceramicists and clay education areas for adults and children to learn tips from OPA teachers. There will also be a gallery of ceramics by high school artists.

Friday and Saturday there is live music starting at 5 p.m. and acoustic performances throughout the weekend.

Hours of the event are Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
