Oct. 5

A 25-year-old was arrested and lodged at the Washington County Jail for stealing services on the MAX.

Officers responded to the 2000 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway at Bi-Mart on criminal mischief.

Oct. 6

In the 500 block of S.E. Fifth Street, a victim who left his vehicle unlocked reported his baseball equipment stolen.

In the 2100 block of N.E. 61st Drive, a GPS was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

In the 3100 block of N.E. John Olsen Avenue, a woman reported her credit card stolen.

There was a car accident near the intersection of N.W. 231st Avenue and N.W. Dogwood Street.

Officers located two men in a vehicle that had license plates that had been reported stolen off a U-Haul vehicle. The men were associated with the Renaissance Festival and claimed to have received the plate from an associate named Steve. Police have not yet made any arrests, but seized the plates.

Oct. 7

A vehicle was rifled through during the night in the 6000 block of S.E. Heike Street.

A 42-year-old man tried to use a fraudulent credit card to pay for his stay at a hotel in the 7300 block of N.E. Butler St. Staff from another hotel reported the man had tried the same thing at their establishment.

Someone cut a cable lock and took a bike while the victim slept in Bagley Park.

n There was a traffic accident near the intersection of N.E. Butler Street and N.W. Amberwood Drive.

A stereo was stolen from a vehicle in the 7300 block of S.E. Villa Street.

Oct. 8

There were car accidents near the intersections of S.E. Baseline Street and S.E. Sixth Avenue, N.W. 185th Avenue and N.W. Holly Street, in the 200 block of S.E. 12th Avenue and in the 2900 block of S.E. Rood Bridge Road.

Graffiti was found in the 1500 and 1600 blocks of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway, the 600 block of S.E. 18th Avenue, the 1700 block of S.E. Walnut Street, the 1700 block of S.E. Oak Street, and the 200 block of S.E. 12th Avenue.

A vehicle ran into a fire hydrant near the intersection of N.E. Brogden Street and N.E. 28th Avenue. Hillsboro water department staff responded to shut down the spray.

Oct. 9

A 41-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Albertsons in the 800 block of N.E. 25th Ave.

There was a hit-and-run in the parking lot of Winco in the 1500 block of S.W. Oak Street.

Graffiti was found in the 1600 block of S.E. Spruce Street, the 900 block of S.E. Oak Street, the 500 block of S.E. Ninth Avenue, and on N.E. Harewood Place and N.E. Autumn Way.

A student reported her iPod Touch stolen at Century High School.

There were traffic accidents near the intersection of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway and S.E. 45th Avenue, and Witch Hazel Road and Brookwood Avenue.

A man reported that someone entered his unlocked garage in the 100 block of N.W. Cody Court and stole tools.

A woman reported that someone used her credit card and Social Security number to obtain a cell phone.

Oct. 10

The window of a vehicle parked at 24 Hour Fitness in the 6000 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway was shattered and a wallet and camera were stolen.

There was a hit-and-run in the 4800 block of Belknap Court.

A vehicle was keyed in the 100 block of S.E. 18th Avenue.

In the 3100 block of N.W. John Olsen Avenue, someone entered a car and stole sunglasses and a social security card.

A porta-potty in the 400 block of S.E. Third Avenue was tagged.

Oct. 11

Graffiti was found on the electrical box on the south side of Glencoe High School.

A vehicle window was smashed in the 7300 block of N.E. Cornell Road.

Tools were taken from an open garage in the 1100 block of S.E. Bacarra Street.

Oct. 12

Mailboxes were smashed along the street in the 600 block of S.E. 35th Avenue and the 2000 block of S.E. River Road.

A 33-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Kohls in the 7300 block of N.E. Butler Street.
