Woman, 71, killed in Cedar Mill

Washington County Sheriff's deputies have detailed a possible suspect in a Friday homicide in the Cedar Mill community.

The name of the suspect was not immediately released.

The victim is Jacqueline Bell, 71.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, at 8:21 a.m. on Oct. 5, deputies received a call from a concerned citizen to check on the welfare of Bell at 10225 N.W. Lee St. When deputies arrived, they observed suspicious circumstances, entered the residence, and found Bell deceased from what appeared to be homicidal violence.

Although Washington County sheriff's detectives have not charged anyone with any crimes as of Sunday morning, there were no outstanding suspects at large.
