Man arrested in link to Gresham murder

Portland resident Demarco "Buddy" Streeter, 30, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Vancouver for a 2016 Gresham murder.

Police linked Streeter to the shooting death of Harry Deonte Brogdon Jr., on Nov. 23 in the 18500 block of Southeast Stephens Circle.

While following up on information and tips on Streeter's whereabouts, the U.S. Marshals Taskforce identified a residence in the 2400 block of East 29th Street, Vancouver, Wash., where they believed Streeter was hiding.

With assistance from the Vancouver Police Department and Southwest Washington SWAT Team, a search warrant was executed on the residence and Streeter was taken into custody without incident.

Police say a search of the home led to evidence related to the homicide.

Streeter was booked into the Clark County Jail on his outstanding warrant on charges of murder, unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a weapon.
