Portland resident Demarco "Buddy" Streeter, 30, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Vancouver for a 2016 Gresham murder.
Police have linked Streeter to the shooting death of Harry Deonte Brogdon Jr., which occurred on Nov. 23 in the 18500 block of Southeast Stephens Circle.
While following up on information and tips on Streeter's whereabouts, the United States Marshals Taskforce identified a residence in the 2400 block of E. 29th Street, Vancouver, where they believed Streeter was hiding. With assistance from the Vancouver Police Department, Vancouver Police Detectives and Southwest Washington SWAT Team, a search warrant was executed on the residence and Streeter was taken into custody without incident.
Police say a search of the home led to the discovery of evidence related to the homicide.
Streeter was booked into the Clark County Jail on his outstanding warrant for murder, unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a weapon.
