Before you leave, it's important to know the current events of your destination that could affect your health and safety. Certain places require vaccines. Be sure yours are up-to-date and in compliance with the country guidelines.

Keep a paper copy or a flash drive of your medical history and records on hand, it could save precious time, especially if you have a medical condition.  Bring extra medication and copies of current prescriptions, along with a MedicAlert Card.

At hotels, don't use the "Please Clean" sign on your door. Would-be burglars often see these rooms as opportunities for theft. Instead, call the front desk to make cleaning arrangements.

Reserve a room off ground level and near the elevator. Would-be thieves tend to avoid active areas in hotels.

Keep bags and purses away from the street side of any walkways. This will help deter grab-and-go thieves, which can also leave you injured.

Use a traveler's bag designed to deter theft. There are several options available and many include RFID-blocking features to prevent your credit cards being scanned.

When you travel, stay safe and you will enjoy your journey. Travel the world worry-free and call C.P. Trips today!
