Firefighters rescue Clydesdale in Aloha

The horse suffered hypothermia after getting stuck in the mud.


PHOTO COURTESY OF TVF&R - Windsor the Clydsdale got stuck in 2 feet of mud and became hypothermic WednesdayA Clydesdale name Windsor got caught in a mud pit in Aloha today, resulting in a rescue by Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.

Firefighters arrived shortly after 11 a.m. today to a residence on McInnis Lane in Aloha. Upon their arrival, they found an 1,800 pound Clydesdale named Windsor in approximately two feet of mud on his side. Windsor was hypothermic due to extremely cold temperatures and was unable to gather enough energy to get out of the pit on his own.
