MAP-IT reorganizing to implement Metro grant
The McLoughlin Area Plan Implementation Team (MAP-IT) will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the former Oak Lodge Sanitary District offices, 14611 S.E. River Road.
The focus of the meeting will be reorganizing the MAP-IT membership to create subcommittee(s) working to implement the Metro 2040 grant recently awarded. Additional community members will also be considered for the new subcommittee(s) that will be advising on the spending of the $180,000 Metro grant. Community members interested in sitting on a committee are strongly encouraged to attend.
MAP-IT is an advisory committee to the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners, focused on implementing the McLoughlin Area Plan (MAP).
MAP-IT encourages area residents and business owners to serve on its subcommittees which focus on the environment, improving the appearance and safety of McLoughlin Boulevard, and developing a community calendar of events. Business representatives are also invited to fill voting seats on MAP-IT.
