Due to the holiday, the McLoughlin Area Plan Implementation Team, which normally meets the first Tuesday of the month, will gather this month at 6:30 p.m. on July 11 at 14611 S.E. River Road, Oak Grove, the former Oak Lodge Sanitary District administration office. The community is encouraged to attend.
July 11 agenda items include news regarding the Park Avenue Development and Design Standards grant, committee reports on the active transportation network, and results from both the MAP rapid-analysis exercise performed at the June MAP-IT meeting and the MAP priority exercise that the Jennings Lodge CPO performed at their June meeting. MAP-IT Chair Terry John Gibson said citizens from the business community can have a vote to direct the future course of the MAP-IT and help achieve the community vision.
"Public engagement is important and will help MAP-IT develop the work plan for the upcoming year, so interested residents and business owners are encouraged to participate in this exercise at this MAP-IT meeting," Gibson said. "The next fiscal year also gives new members of the business community the opportunity to be on the team, as attrition has left some open seats."
