Do you know an Amazing Kid?
The Clackamas Review/Oregon City News and its partner newspapers are seeking submissions to our 2017 Amazing Kids contest. The deadline for submission is Sunday, March 5.
This annual special section, set to appear in May this year, is distributed in Pamplin Media Group newspapers throughout the region.
The Amazing Kids will be honored at a gala event May 8 hosted by Pamplin Media Group.
Now in its fourth edition, Amazing Kids has been highlighting the work young people are doing to make a difference in our community.
It has featured a high schooler rising above homelessness, a young duck breeder looking to feed the hungry, and a hip-hop artist using music to build community, among many other amazing youths.
If you know of an exceptional young person, please submit a brief description of why your nominee deserves to be recognized, along with contact information for both you and the nominee.
Nominees should be a senior in high school or younger. There is no school affiliation requirement (home school, charter school, etc., is OK).
