Local dancers fundraising to compete at nationals


J2, an eight-member company of 10 to 14-year-olds out of Oregon City dance studio Dance Vision, is raising funds to travel to Las Vegas to compete in the National Dance Awards this summer.

From Lake Oswego, Oregon City, Portland, West Linn and Wilsonville, the girls qualified for the national competition with top performances at regional competitions even though they have been dancing together for just one year.
