Musser-Spitznogle exchange July 4 vows
Vicki Musser, of Canby, and Michael Spitznogle, of Philomath, were wed July 4 in the gazebo garden backyard of the brides home.
The Rev. Christine Green officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The garden was also scene of the reception.
The bride is the daughter of Louise Aldrich and the late Bob Aldrich, of Boulder City, Nev. She graduated from the University of Oregon with Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and telecommunications. She works for the city of Woodburn.
The groom is the son of the late Lee and Jane Spitznogle, of Corvallis. He attended Lane and Linn-Benton community colleges and is a 25-year volunteer with Philomath Fire & Rescue. He works for NWFF Environmental.
The bride wore her daughters beaded ivory gown with train and a diamond solitaire necklace previously worn by her mother and grandmother. She also wore a tiara with elbow-length veil and carried a bouquet of hydrangea, freshly picked from her garden.
Sue Wyatt was her matron of honor and Mike Elias was the best man. Both are longtime friends.
The couple honeymooned at Bainbridge Island, Wash., where the grooms parents were married in 1950. They will make their home in Canby.
