Letters to the Editor
Donors offered thanks for help with fundraiser
To the editor:
We had so many donors, we couldnt fit them all into one letter.
We would like to thank all the community members and businesses who helped make Baker Prairie's Jan. 24 family bingo night such a great success. Our families had a great time together, and we raised a lot of money for our Parent, Teacher, Student Association.
This money will go toward funding honor roll breakfasts, special guest speakers and many other educational activities for our kids.
Thanks especially to: Al's Plants, Art Marine at Academy Mortgage, Canby Friends of the Library Bookstore, Dominos, Guitar Center, Les Schwab, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Pappy's Greasy Spoon, Place to Be, Salon L, Cutsforth's Thriftway, Team Spirit, Starbucks, and Supercuts.
Knights offer appreciation for help with recent event

On behalf of the Knights of Columbus at St. Patrick Catholic Church, I would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who attended and supported our 17th Annual Crab Dinner and Charity Auction Feb. 1.
This year was a great success due to the many hard working Knights and their families that worked on the event. The proceeds this year will help support many local, state and national charities and programs that focus on those in need.
The Knights would like to especially thank our local businesses here in Canby for their generous donations to our event. We would also like to recognize the following local businesses for their incredible participation: Wild Hare Saloon, Country Grains at Firpoint Farms, Cutsforths Thriftway, Backstop Bar & Grill, St. Josef's Winery, Morgan Distributing, Pudding River Chocolates, SP&B Reprographics, Mike Gorka, Jay Lawhon, Steve Van Gordon, Laurie at Clackamas County Fairgrounds, as well as the wives and families of our Knights
