The annual Clakamas Kennel Club Dog Show will bring hundreds of breeds to the fairgrounds this weekend

JOHN BAKER - The Clackamas Kenne Club Dog Show will be at the fairgrounds this weekend. Happy hounds and all that comes with them will be on display at this year's Clackamas Kennel Club Dog Show Friday through Sunday, June 23-25, at the Clackamas County Event Center in Canby.

Hundreds of dogs will descend on the fairgrounds with their owners to strut their stuff in a variety of canine sports – conformation, junior showmanship, barn hunt, obedience, and rally – during this year's event. On Friday, there will be 12 independent specialty shows featuring several different breeds.

Obedience and rally competitions will be going all three days, while other events will go on periodically through the weekend. The show is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Entry fee for the show is free, but there is a $5 parking fee.
