"Filmmaking: An Introductory Series" will kick off a five-part series on Saturday, March 18, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Canby Public Library.
The series will feature Oregon filmmaking professionals discussing how to get started telling a story on the screen.
Saturday's initial workshop will focus on the role of being a producer and a director, with Martin Vavra.
The series is free and the contents are for teens and older.

Saturday, April 29 - Capturing and Designing the Sound of your Story, with Tony Gonzalez.
Saturday, May 13 -- Editing and Post Production, with Jason Rosenblatt.
All of the workshops are from 10 to 11 a.m. and are sponsored by the Canby Public Library Foundation.
