Music in the Stacks returns with Celtic sounds

The Canby Public Library's Music in the Stacks program continues in March with a celebration of Celtic music by Beltaine on Saturday, March 18, at 2:30 p.m.

Beltaine is a Celtic Fusion band from Portland, Oregon that features hammered dulcimer, guitar, flute, marimbula, accordion and drums.SUBMITTED PHOTO - The Celtic music of Beltaine will fill the Canby Public Library on Saturday, March 18, at 2:30 p.m. as part of this month's Music in the Stacks program.
Performing both instrumental and vocal tunes, Beltaine offers a unique blend of instrumentation and musical styles.

The original and traditional music performed by Beltaine is inspired from Celtic, folk, rock and classical sources.

The members of Beltaine approach their music with passion and energy.

Members are John Keys (hammered dulcimer, flute, pennywhistle and vocals), Brian Baker (guitar, vocals and percussion), and Jamie Vandenberg (accordion).
