Canby Police make arrests on meth charges
Canby Police arrested an Oregon City couple on meth charges Wednesday.
Wallace Scott Shephard, 40, and his wife, Jennifer Kayleen Shephard, 27, were each arrested on charges of possessing, distributing and manufacturing a controlled substance methamphetamine).
They were arrested without incident when police executed a search warrant at their apartment on Beavercreek Road in Oregon City. Officers found a quarter pound of meth, more than $1,400 in cash, a .380-caliber Ruger semi-automatic handgun and packaging materials used in distributing illegal drugs.
The search and arrests were the result of a Canby Police investigation involving meth sales and distribution in the immediate vicinity of the city of Canby.
The Shephards were being held at the Clackamas County jail. Their bail is set at $75,000 each.
