Council sets timetable to fill vacant council slot
Interested candidates have until Aug. 30 to fill out an application
The city of Canby will accept applications until 5 p.m. Aug. 30 to fill the city council vacancy created by the resignation of Richard Ares.

Qualified applicants must have lived in Canby at least 12 months and be a current registered voter. Applications are available on the city website at www.ci.canby.or.us or at city hall at 182 N. Holly St. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
