Aloha man named as homicide victim
Misael "Gallo" Delgado-Nunez was found Aug. 11 shot to death in a field outside Wilsonville
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has identified a man found shot to death Aug. 11 in a field near Wilsonville as an Aloha man.
According to the sheriffs office, the dead man has been identified as Misael Gallo Delgado-Nunez, 45, of Aloha. He was found by passersby in a field in the area of Northeast Arndt Road and State Highway 551 between Wilsonville and Aurora.
Delgado-Nunez was last seen alive in the Beaverton area on Saturday, Aug. 9. Police still are actively investigating his death, which an autopsy performed by the state Medical Examiners Office showed was caused by gunshot wounds.
Police have not said whether they believe he was killed at the scene or at another location.
At the time he was found Delgado-Nunez was wearing an Army camouflage print t-shirt, blue jeans and black-and-orange Nike-brand sneakers. He also had a distinctive cross with blue stones on a neck chain.
