The Environmental Protection Agency, in partnership with the Beaverton Urban Redevelopment Agency and the city of Beaverton, is sponsoring workshops to explore key issues and strategies related to how land-use patterns, land cover and land management affect the quality of local streams.

The agency invites the public to attend workshops on Thursday, May 23, at the Beaverton City Library, 12375 S.W. Fifth St., from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a community session held from 6 to 8 p.m.
