Join a VIEWS conversation for older adults

The Portland-area nonprofit organization VIEWS (Volunteers Involved for the Emotional Well-Being of Seniors) offers the following free Conversations on Aging. Older adults are invited to participate, talk about some of their concerns, receive resources and ideas, and see how helpful a discussion with peers can be.

Learning from Grief and Loss: Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1:30-3 p.m. at Friendly House, 1737 N,W, 26th Ave., Portland. Grief is normal, but it can be more difficult as you age and the losses seem to come all the time. Learn how losses can affect your sense of self as well as your health. Staying Engaged in Life: Wednesday, Sept. 11, 10-11:30 a.m. at the Gladstone Senior Center, 1050 Portland Ave., Gladstone. We all have concerns about end-of-life care. This conversation will explore some of the life questions that may come up. What is most meaningful in your life now?
